a new place to stay might be kinda fun!"
But it wasn't.

You coulda had equally as much fun at home washin' clothes,
and just called Aunt so & so and said hello right on the phone.
But you didn't.

So here you are on the road or at the bus stop waitin'.
Aggrivated, oh-so jaded,
By your partial vacation.

To those who don't understand let me explain.
A partial vacation is kinda like a song with no real changes.
Just keeps doin' the same thing over and over.

It's like a song where the words don't really make sense
or even rhyme any of the time... Eh... Fine.
But when they do, it's more then likely the line you remember.
