Waiting for a reason to come in.
Their eyes are emtpy moons, standing 'til the 'morrow
And dissapear when the sun touches their skin.

The infants in the trees and looking down at me
Nobody can see them but a friend.
My friend could not believe the things that he did see
And nobody did see my friend again.

I think I'm gonna let the children in.

There's something in the room, contorted on the floor,
It doesn't have a face and it knows my name.
I've heard it's voice before, a muffled scream so torn,
Warning me I'd never get away.

More children then before now stand behind the door.
Trying to ignore, I go back to bed.
But even where I lie, their eyes peeked from the sides.
Remembering the words the faceless said.

After hours came the sun, gleaming through forgotten wood,
Where the children went, it seems as if they flew.
And I weep every time, I can't see through the window,
Because I'm one of these children too.
